چکیده
Temporary shelters are widely used in various missions, whether military or non-military, to meet the needs of low-cost and quick deployment structures. The unlikely be connected conventional electrical grids, hence known as ‘off-grid shelters’ require independent energy sources such gas-fueled generators. Since supply fuel is often limited, planning efficient usage crucial for their operations, having models structures will greatly support process. This research presents a method modeling off-grid soft-wall shelters, propose systematic model validation generated shelter using OpenStudio software, thermal properties materials measured 1D conduction analysis. Air leakage modified blower door tests, ground coupling account temperatures. Finally, validated with field data terms HVAC load, which showed an average difference 0.64 kWh over mean value 2.43 7 day period. were then conduct parametric studies advanced seek efficiency improvements. integration aerogel insulation 0.98% reduction, while radiant barrier 3.6% reduction cooling usage. findings from this study provide reliable less-studied area can subsequently efficiently plan requirement prior deployments.
